Participation waiver & medical declaration

Arm Wrestling Pro (ARMPRO), a project by System That Sells · Last updated 2 October 2026

Version 2026-10. Every athlete accepts this when registering for an event (a parent/guardian also consents for athletes under 18).

I understand the risks

Arm wrestling places extreme force on the arm, wrist, elbow and shoulder. Injuries can happen even with correct technique and good refereeing, including muscle and ligament tears, dislocations and bone fractures (including spiral fractures of the upper arm).

I declare that

  • I am in good health and medically fit to compete, and I have no injury, heart condition or other condition that makes competing unsafe for me.
  • I will tell the organizer and referee if I am injured or unwell before or during the event, and I will stop if told to.
  • I will follow the referees, competition rules and code of conduct, and protect myself by avoiding dangerous positions.
  • The information in my profile, my identity and my age are true.

I accept responsibility

I take part voluntarily and accept the risks above. To the extent permitted by law, I release the event organizer, officials and Arm Wrestling Pro (ARMPRO), a project by System That Sells from liability for injury or loss arising from my participation, except where caused by their gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

Medical help

I consent to receiving first aid and, if needed, emergency medical treatment, and to the organizer contacting my emergency contact (or guardian) if I am injured. Any treatment costs are my own responsibility unless the organizer provides cover.

Photos and results

My name, club, results and bracket appear publicly. If I opted in, event photos and videos of me may also be published.
