Privacy Policy
Arm Wrestling Pro (ARMPRO), a project by System That Sells · Last updated 2 October 2026
This policy explains what personal data ARMPRO collects, why, and your rights, in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the IT Rules. Arm Wrestling Pro (ARMPRO), a project by System That Sells is the data fiduciary for the Platform.
What we collect
- Account: mobile number (verified by OTP), name, date of birth, gender, profile photo, and email if you choose to add and verify one.
- Player profile: weight, height, dominant arm, arm measurements, city/state, club, coach, and an emergency contact.
- Identity & age verification: you upload photos of the front and back of your ID (usually your Aadhaar card). The photos are stored privately, seen only by our review team, and deleted once reviewed. After review we keep only your name, date of birth, gender and the last 4 digits of the number — not your full Aadhaar number. We keep a one-way fingerprint of the verified identity to prevent duplicate accounts.
- Minors: the name, relationship and phone number of a parent/guardian (also the emergency contact), and the athlete's confirmation that the parent/guardian consents.
- Events: registrations, weigh-in weights, declarations you accept, payment references you submit (e.g. UPI transaction IDs), check-ins, results and protests.
- Organizers: organization name, logo, contact details, UPI ID and links (shown publicly on your events).
- Notifications: the messages in your ARMPRO inbox and, if you allow notifications, a push token for your phone or browser.
- Walk-in registrations: if an organizer registers you at the venue with your mobile number, we create an ARMPRO account for that number so you can log in by OTP and see your entry.
- Technical: basic logs needed to run and secure the service.
Why we use it
- To run your account and the events you enter or organize.
- To place athletes in the correct age and weight categories and stop impersonation and fake accounts.
- To show brackets, results and athlete pages publicly.
- To keep the Platform safe, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations.
We rely on your consent, which you give when you sign up and when you accept each declaration. You can withdraw consent by deleting your account.
Who sees it
- Public: your name, photo, club, city and results in brackets, results and your athlete page; organizer profiles.
- Organizers of events you enter: your registration details, weigh-in, ID verification status, guardian and emergency contact — only to run that event.
- Organizers you've competed with: they keep a list of athletes who entered their events (your name, photo, club, city, phone and your history with them) so they can invite you to future events and send event updates. They can also block you from their own events or report you to ARMPRO. They never see users who haven't entered their events. You can mute any organizer from your inbox.
- ARMPRO admins: what's needed to review events and IDs and handle support. Every admin action is logged.
- Service providers: Google Firebase (hosting data in India where available), Vercel (web hosting) and Razorpay (online hosting-fee payments) process data for us under contract.
We don't sell your personal data.
How long we keep it
Account data is kept while your account is active. Uploaded ID images are deleted after review. When you delete your account we erase your account, profiles, verification data, photos and public athlete page; results already published inside past events remain as part of those events' records.
Your rights
- Access and correct your data from your profile.
- Erase your account any time from Profile → Delete account.
- Nominate someone to exercise your rights, and raise a grievance with us.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit, access is restricted by role, sensitive documents are private, and administrative access is audited.
